The Family Cruise Cost Calculator
The fare on the booking page is not what the trip costs. This estimates the real total for your family, including gratuities, drinks, excursions, getting to the port, and the stuff that sneaks onto the stateroom bill. Estimates are built from current public pricing patterns; treat the result as a planning number, not a quote.

Estimates based on typical published pricing for each line as of mid-2026. Actual fares swing widely with demand — the same cabin can differ by thousands between sailings. Use this to budget, then price real dates.
Where these numbers come from
Exact, published rates (verified July 2026): the gratuity line uses each cruise line's current published daily service charge for standard cabins — Disney $16.00, Royal Caribbean $18.50, Carnival $17.00 (April 2026 increase), Norwegian $20.00, MSC $17.00, Princess $18.00 per guest per night. These are the real numbers that appear on your onboard account.
Modeled estimates: cruise fares change daily with demand, so the fare line is modeled from published starting fares and typical family pricing observed across each line in 2026, adjusted for season and cabin. Drinks use current onboard à la carte menu prices ($8–15 per drink across these lines). Excursions and extras use typical published excursion and specialty-dining pricing. That is why the result shows a range: the structure of the cost is accurate, the exact fare on your date is something only the booking engine knows.
